Carolin Kewer

Carolin Kewer, a German-born photographer, art director, and artist, explores the intersection of fine art, film, and photography through her distinctive visual language. With a foundation in Fine Art and Photography in Germany, she has built a career spanning magazines, music visuals, advertising campaigns, short films, and cinematic poster design. Her clients include Condé Nast Vogue, DuMont Mediengruppe, Warner Bros., Sony Records, Mercedes-Benz, and numerous architectural firms.

Carolin’s creative vision is shaped by her passion for noir aesthetics, 1920s Hollywood photography, and avant-garde experimentation, often incorporating bold color processes and cinematic storytelling. Her work has been exhibited internationally in Los Angeles and Europe, including the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, the CALTRANS Museum, and the Heinrich Heine Institut.

Her exhibitions and projects have been generously supported by Stadt Sparkasse Düsseldorf (Germany), Caltrans District 7 Headquarters (Los Angeles), Cyclingworld Europe (Düsseldorf), and the Diamond Awards Festival (Antwerp). Through her practice, she continues to explore the dialogue between history, style, and imagination.
